The date is March 29, 2025. The time is 3:30 pm. The winter has been hard, but this day is sunny and 75 degrees. The birds are chirping, the doves are cooing, and the neighbors are trying to get lawn equipment running. Children are playing, and Jamie is sitting in his front yard simply enjoying the afternoon. The recording featured in this episode of the Pauls Place captures that moment in time. There are no surprises and no amazing bits of audio captured for posterity. Just a lazy Saturday. Enjoy all 25 minutes of this recording, or simply dip in for a bit. There will be more audio to come throughout the year, but this one starts out simple and ends with distant bells ringing. What is the song they are playing? If you recognize it, please let Jamie know! The bells start at around 24:45.
